These Underwear Mistakes Will Ruin Your Health !!!
You might be thinking that just remembering to put on underwear each day is good enough, but here we’re to tell you otherwise. Believe it or not, some of these mistakes can even be harmful to your health.
1. Fabric is not cotton.
Cotton absorbs excess moisture and removes build up heat from the area...It is especially important to wear cotton underwear throughout the summer or during times of high humidity. This is the best time for yeast infections, itching, and odor to occur. Avoid underwear at night entirely if cotton is not available. Cotton is also helpful in breathability because of the gaps in the fabric
2. Too small size
Too tight undergarments may hamper blood circulation to your intimate area which causes irritation and inflammation. You can also feel a stinging sensation there. The regular habit of wearing tight underwear or inner wears can cause serious health problems. Never ignore these health effects of wearing tight underwear which is, skin diseases, infection at the urinary tract, hampers air circulation.
3. Sweaty inner wears
Sweat creates a huge problem when it comes to your intimate areas. Since the skin there is already sensitive, tight innerwears or wrong fabrics along with sweat can make your skin more irritated. This might also lead to allergies. So, if you sweat a lot during the day, make sure you change your underwear twice a day. Also, opt for moisture-wicking fabrics when you’re working out for added comfort and hygiene.
4. Perfumed detergents
Harsh chemicals in detergents can remain trapped in the fabric, causing skin irritation and contact dermatitis. Laundry detergents and fabric softeners can do more harm to you than good. The chemicals in the detergents can cause vaginal irritation, redness, and infection. It is better to wash undergarments in normal detergents
5. Repeated wears
The risk of infection is even higher when you're wearing underwear or undergarments for a very long time. You must never repeat the same innerwear again without washing it. There is a high chance of bacterial and fungal growth on the fabric itself and this exposes you to a high risk of infections.
